The Classic Show
25-30 minutes, £100
I will dance seamlessly through various musical moods and tempos. A classic show generally includes an opening number, a veil dance, a drum solo and dance to a well known pop song. These dances may include various props, for instance veils, finger cymbals or Egyptian Stick (folkloric dance). I can also encourage the guest of honour to dance or invite audience participation. This usually happens during the pop song, often one of the famous Western pop songs which have been sung by Arabic singers, and that Western audiences can therefore enjoy.
Lesson and Show,
One and a half to two hours £80
This option is perfect for hen nights, bridal showers, girls’ birthday parties, or mehndi (henna) parties. I will teach some typical belly dance moves (the inifinity move, the hip circle, the shimmy, the camel) and combine it in a short and fun combo. I then follow it up with a 10-minute show in full costume.
